Lime paint – effect paint that gives a concrete-like surface

Gjøco Lime Paint is a mineral lime paint for interior use in dry rooms. Provides a vibrant and concrete-like surface. Used on building boards, plaster, concrete and plastered surfaces.

Gjøco Kalkmaling is a unique interior paint, which must be “wild-painted / cross-brushed” on the surface. This provides a vibrant surface with shades. The surface provides a contemporary matte and subdued structure that adds peace and warmth to the room. Our chalk paint can be used on all the walls in a room, or only on a selected wall. Gjøco Lime paint has a high pH and can cause challenges on certain surfaces and when overpainting with other paints. If you are unsure of the substrate, you can first apply one or two coats of Gjøco Interiør 10 before using Gjøco Kalkmaling. If you want to use a different paint over Gjøco Kalkmaling; sand with a fine sandpaper; apply one or two coats of Gjøco Interiør 10, and you are free to apply another paint on top.

Our chalk paint can also be used on interior details, such as mirror frames, table and countertops. If you want a concrete-like surface on the table top, try for example the color “gray slate”. If the paint is used on surfaces that are exposed to spills and wear, one coat with Gjøco Sealer as the top coat is recommended.
